Andy Street became the Managing Director of the John Lewis division of the John Lewis Partnership in 2007. He began his Partnership career in 1985 at John Lewis Brent Cross, joining the business as a graduate trainee after studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Oxford University. 

After working in department stores, head office and manufacturing he became Managing Director of John Lewis Milton Keynes in 1993 and then Bluewater in 1998.  In 2000 he became Supply Chain Director and moved to the role of Director of Personnel in 2002.  He was appointed Managing Director of John Lewis in 2007.

Andy also has many outside interests including working on projects to enhance and develop the city of Birmingham where the Partnership's latest department store opened in 2015.

To pursue his ambition to work with the people of Birmingham Andy left the business in 2016.
