Informing children of the future, a time capsule is buried at Tunbridge Wells

JL at Tunbridge Wells announced

In the Gazette of 21st May 2010, the Partnership announced its intention to open two further ‘at home’ stores. Swindon and Tunbridge Wells would become the third and fourth new format branch to open. With the opening target set for the autumn of 2010, this was to be a quick construction project indeed. By September 2010, most of the work had been done. And one month later in October, final preparations were underway. The picture below shows local children from Tunbridge Wells, burying a time capsule underneath the store.
