John Lewis At Home Tamworth opened on Wednesday 12th October 2011. The store, being only 14 miles from Birmingham, was immediately inundated with customers upon opening, many flocking to the swanky new cafe. Some had been queuing for an hour to get in! The branch now held the title of the biggest of the ‘at home’ branches yet, and arguably was also the best looking.

Tamworth had a vital role to play in the catchment of customers in the Midlands, ahead of John Lewis opening a department store near Birmingham city centre in 2014. With a brand new shop, equipped with the latest facilities and technology, ‘Tamworth At Home’ was well on course to fulfil its potential.
