The essence of the outlet store, the reduced to clear sticker
John Lewis Swindon, Home Outlet was opened on the 3rd December 2007. Remarkably, over 100 units were sold in one day despite next to no advertising being done, as customers took advantage of the imperfect furniture and electrical appliances, sourced from Cribbs Causeway, Bluewater and Park Royal.

The outlet has continued to thrive since opening. In early 2014, it was announced that re-development would take place to give the store a new look, in line with a wider refurbishment of the McArthurGlen village. This is a clear testament to both the store and the village’s success.
