Celebrity signs cookbook for charity at Cheadle

The Gazette of the 24th November 2001 reported how John Lewis Cheadle joined forces with top chef Raymond Blanc to raise money for the branches charity of the year, The Rainbow Trust. The Rainbow Trust. Blanc made an exclusive visit to the store to sign copies of the charity cook book Posh Nosh, for which he had written the foreword. Other famous stars including John Cleese, Joan Collins, Ian Hislop, Ken Livingston and David Essex have all contributed recipes. All the books proceeds were all given to charity.

Through Francis House, a childen’s hospice at Didbury Manchester, The Rainbow Trust cares for children with shirt life expectancy, and offers support their families.
