As part of the Social calendar of Robert Sayle, the Rambling Club organised a Treasure Hunt around Cambridge. Teams were sent off in different directions so that they couldn’t follow one another and might meet going in opposite directions! We all met up in the Social Club Room on the roof of Robert Sayle having completed the task. About 50 Partners and friends joined in the fun.
There were quite a number of Partners and friends or relatives taking part that some names are not available or surnames have slipped our minds, if anyone can add to the list for us, we would appreciate it.
Wow!! was it really 1998! As you said it’s no wonder we looked so young!
I do remember doing this walk looking for clues with our team and we had to meet in the club room on the roof at the old Robert Sayle for our papers to be marked up. I can’t remember who got the best scores but I remember us doing quite well and being pleased with the scores. I also remember it being a very good event. The good old days eh!
It was also very popular if there was 50 of us, I’m glad you found a record of it.
